As I stated in a previous post on this topic I have mixed thoughts on this situation but one thing I am not confused on and that is that there is a very STINKY SKUNK involved in this whole situation - I have a couple ideas but nothing solid so far.

As for children having babies - what is new about that or so terrible? I married at 16 - had my first baby at 17 and my second at 18.... and a few more after that. There are areas of this country where young marriages and having babies in the teen years was and is a common way of life. BTW - I was living in Washington State - not The South. Also, marriage was not intended to be between a couple and the State - it was set forth to be within the CHURCH - a covenant between a man, a woman, and God - no where was the State to be involved until the State wanted to LICENSE and CONTROL it. Now that the State has taken control - two males - two females or maybe your favorite goat can get a license and marry. Sure sounds like a great improvement for some.

No, I really don't think the *children* are the focus here. If that were so we would see the state going after other *sects* and other races that also are known to have children at a very young age. I also don't think it is really after the Mormon church but rather after the CONTROL of all that money and property - as well as those children who were NOT being brainwashed in the STATES PUBLIC SEWER SYSTEM called Public School. I still smell remnants of Mt. Carmel in all this. And, with the stellar record CPS has in taking care of children, these kids have been given a death sentence IMHO. Hillary's VILLAGE to care for kids is about as perfect as Hillary herself.

The government is hell bent to keep ILLEGALS together but in this situation they have separated these very vulnerable children from their mothers and are now saying the children need psychiatric evaluation (read that re-training). Once again the government creates the problem they say they want to fix. They drive the kids nuts and then say they need mental help. Just like the way they are fixing our economy.

I read the complaints about children having babies and that they are going to do DNA testing to check who is who - yet in the rest of society young girls have babies - not married - who knows who those FATHERS ARE? and what is worse is the state then hands out welfare checks to the unmarried mothers and provide subsidized housing and food stamps to them. But those mama's and kids weren't being taught like the kids in this situation. Drugs are far better for young moms and their babies than a clean lifestyle.

One thing I will say in support of the Mormons - you won't find one of their members on welfare - they take care of their own. The LDS is the best model for family responsibility of anything I have ever seen..... I am not in favor of their spiritual teachings one bit but they are, without any doubt, the BEST there is as a Social Family organization.

I guess the state can't stand that so they have to storm in - let's be glad they didn't use their arsenal like they did at Mt. Carmel (Lon Horiuchi must be mad he missed another day at the range to show off his sharpshooting). Note that tomorrow - April 19th - is the 15th anniversary of that state operation against children.

Don't be too quick to judge this situation until you have all the facts and not the media slant.
I still haven't seen hide nor hair of the 16 years old who was said to have called for help. No tape of the call - no sign of the girl. Don't you find that just a bit odd? I sure do.

SAN ANGELO -- A girl as young as 13 may have given birth at a polygamous sect's compound, a child welfare worker testified Thursday night at a marathon custody hearing for 416 children removed from the ranch.

State Child Protective Services investigator Angie Voss said that at least five girls younger than 18 are pregnant or have children.
