8 months? Bush has had almost 8 YEARS to secure our border and all he has done is open it wider and wider. This problem didn't start on 9/11/01 - this invasion from the South has been going on a lot longer and only a tiny few politicians have been willing to stand up and even SPEAK about it much less DO something about it.
One simple Presidential order - for all able bodied American men to take their position along the border - fully armed - and notice sent to the Mexican government that this INVASION is over with as of May 1, 2008 - that would stop the invasion in a New York minute. All ILLEGALS still in this country after May 1, 2008 must report to their respective embassy and be ready for immediate deportation or suffer the consequences. Said consequences would be prison in Shurf Joe's open air tent cities until their deportation is accomplished.
This is only presented as a *difficult* situation because Bush and his OWO gangsters make it so. There is nothing difficult about this - IF - IF - IF - the WILL to secure our borders was in the hearts of those we have allowed to sit and rule over us. The other questions in all this --- WHERE IS OUR WILL to elect American (according to the Constitution) men to office?
