As I was lying in bed this morning - talking to God and seeking His guidance and protection for this day ahead - a thought crossed my mind that I would like to share with readers.
WGEN posts a lot of material every day with a great amount of it focused on the Constitution. I have always looked at WGEN as a great educational tool for ME and hopefully for the readers as well. I have been blessed with having subscribers and writers who send articles that provide constant educational material on how America was intended and SHOULD be governed.
The thought that hit me this morning: ponder upon how different this nation would be if ---
Young boys could rattle off the Articles of the Constitution like they do the stats of baseball players.
What if they could then rattle off each of the original Ten Amendments and explain WHY they are so important and how they relate to today in all we do.
Not only the young boys but let us include all those other males who flip through the paper and only read the Sports section. What if they were to keep a copy of the Anti-Federalist papers handy and read them like they read the daily or Sunday Sports section of the paper.
Not to leave the young girls or women out of this.......
What if they had as much interest in what has given them the FREEDOM to wear whatever fashion they like as they do in going shopping or attending other events where they know exactly who is who on the Social ladder.
What if the mom's of all those skimpy dressed 'cheerleaders' were to push their daughters to have a solid understanding of the Founding documents that created America as they do which dance steps and gymnastic flips get the most applause and looks. Let's not forget hairstyles and makeup which seems to be the BIG focus for females of all ages.
I have long penned words indicating my disgust over how more people are far more interested in some Sporting Event, in person or on TV, than the fact that America is being destroyed from WITHIN. Go into some bar or lounge, or even some church gathering, and try to begin a conversation with, "Hey, did you see how the Congress and President violated OUR Constitution today?" They would either laugh or ignore you and go back to their conversations of some game and which players screwed up or hit home runs, made baskets, or made touchdowns.
The OWO goons made sure they found a diversion to keep The People occupied and to keep them from noticing how FREEDOM and LIBERTY was being taken from them while they were all singing about it at the beginning of the GAMES they were watching.
I have a grandson going on 12 years old who I am told can rattle of the stats of baseball players like a whiz and he has been doing this for several years. I bet he can't tell you what the *Articles* of the Constitution even are much less what they say. With the exception of maybe three of my 12 grandkids I would bet they can't tell you much about it either. I could fault the school system but that would be letting my children off the hook for failing to make sure their kids understood what that 'Piece of Paper' stands for. I have to ask if any of them can even say the Pledge of Allegiance by themselves or what type of government America is supposed to have. Especially when you have MSM mouths and politicians saying we have a *democracy* rather than a REPUBLIC.
I will tie this up by challenging each of you to in turn challenge your kids, grandkids, friends and relatives to see if they can read the four pages that set forth what America stood for but has let slide into the abyss. Make it as much fun and as interesting as the stats for a ball player or a NASCAR driver. Don't forget the girls - if they want some new fad item - have them EARN it by learning at least one section of one of the Articles. If they want to get a learners permit to drive - add passing a test on the Constitution as one of the requirements to getting that learners permit. Imagine having a new driver on the roads who has at least read the Constitution.
It may be too late but it is the duty of each person to do all they can to stand against the OWO goons and as scripture states so clearly - "My people are DESTROYED for LACK OF KNOWLEDGE." Let's do what we can to change that and make sure our children are well armed in the battles ahead.
