Author: Pretz--sweets in Germany are not as sweet as those in the US. It makes the flavors of the ingredients stand out more.
Subject: Lebkuchen!! My Mom goes to Germany to visit her family once a year, and I always make her bring me some back. They're gone in days. Also, my aunt makes something like 20 different kinds of German Christmas cookies and mails them to us...so delicious!
