I've never had sciatica, but I know the pain my husband was in when he had it about 5 yrs ago. He walked like an old man, and I had to help him. Fortunatly, it went away after a few days and it hasn't returned. And I hear you about not sleeping. When that happens (like last Thursday,) I get up and get more work done than in the day.
