[> Chew a bite of banana very thoroughly, then swallow slowly--let it gently slide down your throat. If this helps, then wait a bit for the next bite, until the "therapy" of the first one wears off. This works very well for me. -- Deemus, 17:25:39 12/16/10 Thu [1]

[> Gargle with warm salt water. (anti-infective) Not too salty, but enough to feel a tingle. Chase it with a tylenol (anti-inflammatory). Also, grab some chewable C tablets - the big ones the size of nickles, if you can find them - and suck on them, allowing that C to slide down your throat. The Salt and the C may need to be repeated, every few hours for the first day or so. Oh, and drink plenty of water to balance the salt. -- The Chief (I'd never heard of the banana trick, Deemus - we'll have to try that!), 23:00:55 12/16/10 Thu [1]

[> ginger tea - ginger is a natural something or other - if I remember the recipe right - hot tea with 3/4 cup of hot water 1/4 cup of lemon juice 2 tablespoons of honey and then it might be 1/2 a teaspoon of ginger - I used just a pinch because I never liked the taste of ginger. maybe play with it to taste - -- chris k, 06:35:12 12/19/10 Sun [1]

[> [> #2 - a crock pot with vicks vapor rub - This works especially well for coughs but because it keeps the room moist (especially in the winter with the heat on) it keep your throat from drying out while you sleep - which makes it hurt more. Put a crock pot of hot water on low overnight with a tablespoon of Vicks vapor rub (not generic) and close the bedroom door. Works fabulously -- chris k, 06:36:51 12/19/10 Sun [1]

[> Airborne. All natural. Take as directed and your sore throat will be gone by morning. I drink a cup of this every morning and I NEVER get sick. No noe in my family has ever had the Flu. They have a kids dose too. -- TF, 16:36:34 12/20/10 Mon [1]
