I couldn't watch it but I was kept up to date. At first, I was disappointed the Americans didn't win and then I realized what was at stake for the Canadians. Awwww - thanks judi! Yeah, it really was a big thing for us. It didn't really start out that way, but when it finally came down to the event, it had been such an amazing Olympics for us and everyone was riding a national "high". We had gone from never winning an Olympic Gold medal on home soil, to beating the record for having the most Gold medals of a host country, ever.
