I'm a super plotter. In my wide (two stories!) experience, I found I did lots of thinking and figuring in my head, but the first things I wrote were scattered ideas, then a timeline. I added details, and had the whole line all plotted out before I typed a word of actual text. Of course, whether it actually worked well is debatable.... -- Fic Recon
