Subject: Of all the many, many papers I did at university, including grad school, I never had a paper finished a day before it had to be handed in. So I didn't have the luxury of letting it sit. I'd finish typing, do a quick proof read and edit, and run it off while I was dressing to leave. Somehow that worked. I'm definitely a person who needs a deadline, and I use every minute up. Same thing with fanfic (sorry Pixie!) Without a deadline that I commit to, I rarely write at all.
