Deborah, I've seen every episode at least once, have read thousands of fanfiction stories - it seems to me that there are a great many opinions and views of Harm and Mac (and the other characters) - how they would act, react, talk, think, etc in any given situation; why (besides "The Don made them") they said or did xxx on the show! I don't think it's possible (or desired) to have one definitive characterization! -- Fic Recon
