Here's the question to ponder, though. When private grief becomes a national tragedy, does the media (hobbiest or professional) have a responsibility to respect that grief in making decisions about programming/publishing?

I submit that they do, though obviously that goes against the whole freedom of speech/freedom of the press concept. At what point, though, does legality defer to humanity?
