I think we have to as a society discuss events like this. We can’t live in a vacuum and ignore something this big. As long as the author isn’t trying to make profit or in some way benefit from the event I don’t think it is wrong to write about it or make a show about it. As long as it is done tastefully and with respect to the victims. With something of this magnitude happening we are all looking for answers and ways to deal with it. Some choose to do that through writing and choose to share that to maybe also bring some comfort to others. I do believe a warning at the beginning might have been a good idea so that those that didn’t want to read about this subject could stop before they got into the story. But we should all be respectful of how others deal with a crisis. -- Fic Recon
