Subject: I do when I think Im losing my way with the 'voice' of the characters. I feel I had a better handle on them back when the series was new and current. Sometimes reading all the discussions and opinions, while fascinating, muddies my original take on the people in JAG. If I find an old story is worth the time Ill sometimes do an edit and then stick it up on my shared website.

  • I've resisted the "temptation" to re-write, though I've tried to fix typos when I send a story to anyone who asks for it. If I ever took the time to do much 'editing', I wouldn't make a lot of substantive changes. Each story was written at a particular point in time, and even if my thoughts have changed, that was the way it was then. It is somewhat "odd" to read or re-read stories stories set way back, in S 2 for ex, knowing now that it'll be years and years more of the 'dance' and the UST! (NT) -- Janlaw, 13:45:02 04/28/07 Sat
