Subject: I've resisted the "temptation" to re-write, though I've tried to fix typos when I send a story to anyone who asks for it. If I ever took the time to do much 'editing', I wouldn't make a lot of substantive changes. Each story was written at a particular point in time, and even if my thoughts have changed, that was the way it was then. It is somewhat "odd" to read or re-read stories stories set way back, in S 2 for ex, knowing now that it'll be years and years more of the 'dance' and the UST!

  • I guess it shows my lack of experience in writing to say, when I re-read things I wrote earlier, even papers back in college (many years ago!), I tend to think, "Gee, that really was fairly good." I think, and plan, and edit, and rewrite, and do it all again before I'm done, so I guess I reach the point where I have it the way I want it, or at least the best I can do.
