I also am lacking in the plot catagory - every time I think of something my next thought is it's already been done. Guess that's what happens when you read too much. I guess my real question is, is there someplace you can go to get help? For me it's where is a creative writting class when you need it? -- Fic Recon

I did a creative writing class at university (a few years ago), but I can't say it helped much with learning how to develop good plots. What I did take from it, and what I abide by, was the lesson that one should try to avoid too many adverbs, and instead use "strong" verbs... it makes sentences more vivid and imaginable. Always have a Thesaurus handy. I don't really know of any other sources that might help, but I've also never looked around for them. (NT) -- Colie, 11:56:43 05/31/07 Thu
