Oh, I don't doubt that he was emotionally, mentally, and verbally abusive to her. It's just that she specifically said that he never hit her. - Agreed. I guess I was really replying to the earlier part of the thread that suggested that Mac's abusive childhood was fanon rather than canon. - Emotional/psychological abuse is every bit (if not more) destructive than physical abuse. A broken arm heals. A self-esteem that has been trampled on may never walk upright again. Mental scars last longer and are deeper than physical ones, in my experience. (NT) -- clr, 16:03:22 02/10/07 Sat
