I haven't seen the movies, but I can see from the little mentioned that they are quite different from the books. It's funny--I love fanfic about JAG, but I don't like changes in books! In the "real" story, Anne's sons fought in WWI (and one of them died), but Gilbert did not. He would have been close to 50 by then. (NT) -- Deemus, 17:07:09 02/14/07 Wed

    - I agree. I loved all 3 movies. I'm not sure why the third was such a departure from the books. Maybe they knew it would be the last one and decided to do something totally different, rather than try to squeeze everything else into one movie, or pick and choose what to leave in and what to leave out and still have it feel finished.
