I agree. I loved all 3 movies. I'm not sure why the third was such a departure from the books. Maybe they knew it would be the last one and decided to do something totally different, rather than try to squeeze everything else into one movie, or pick and choose what to leave in and what to leave out and still have it feel finished. -- Fic Recon
