Subject: Is there still a place for angst in JAG fanfic?


I've noticed that most JAG fanfic these days is about the romance and the happily ever afters. I'm fine with that. I like fluffy, happy fic as well as the next person. But it's made me wonder...does anybody still enjoy reading deeper, more emotionally demanding stories? Is anybody still interested in reading cases, or long, action driven dramas?

And before anybody gets defensive, this isn't in regards to any story in particular, nor is it a complaint in any way shape or form. It's just honest curiosity at work.
