Very interesting question and the answer to me is very personal. I read FF for fun but sometime I read to go away of reality, it's my reward for face and put up with RL. So I can't read stories where Harm and Mac are not together at the end. I have to confess if the author don't say which pairing is or I don't know the author I take a pic of the story end and after that decide read or nor read. But I discovered the other day reading a ff where Bud and Harriet died that can stand others characters angs. If I have to blame someone for that. I blame the Gorilla. -- Fic Recon

I enjoy a well-written angst-filled story, whether it's emotional angst or action/adventure angst, or both, BUT I want it coupled with a happy Harm and Mac ending.
