Subject: Building off my last post...


Several people mentioned that they just wanted to read "a good story," that anything well-written will get their attention.

So, my next question is this. What makes a good story when it comes to JAG fanfic? Is it about genre (romance, mystery, action etc), mechanics (spelling, grammar, pacing, etc) or is it something altogether different? And, on the flip side of the coin, what makes a story unreadable for you?
