- There is a programme here in the UK called Celebrity Masterchef, celebrities have to compete to prepare dishes for two judges and are eliminated based on how well they do with presentation, taste, timing etc. They also have to cook in a top class restaurant, a school and also Leeds Castle (known for its fine dining apparently). I have heard/read David is a good cook so that would be interesting plus the show only lasts 2-3 weeks so he would be able to get back to the acting soon. I think that would be interesting.   - Well - at one time - quite a while back - a few years before JAG, David was a cigarette smoker. So, in one aspect he did quit. I guess it is hypocritical of me, because while I hate cigarettes I don't mind cigars. My husband smokes cigars and I guess it is an attitude - it is not something you do 15 - 20 times a day - it doesn't have that same 'addiction' behavior to it in the sense that 'you got to have one'. I am sure from the health stand point they are just as bad for you though. And too - everyone is different so who knows. I think David's cigars are similar to Chuck's - associated with certain activities - for David that is certainly on the golf course - for Chuck it is around the camp fire at the lake. - Had Canada Day here in Folkestone (UK) too. There was a flower laying ceremony in Shorncliffe cemetery for the 296 Canadian WW1 soldiers laid to rest there. Apparently I didn't realise but we have had the army here since 1794 wow. Also we have the Gurkhas here too see them running along the beach with there heavy packs. Tough guys. Hey Gang - David attended the CCGI event in Jamaica over this past week (June 24 - 28).

My husband and I at the last minute decided to attend as well and we had a glorious time. Chuck and David got on famously - much to my chagrin. LOL!!

David said he was incredibly bummed and was sorry for missing the BMW because he really wanted to participate - he spoke highly about the tournament and said he was really looking forward to it. He grimaced when he said he couldn't believe the job came days before the event and he had to pull out.

Saturday night at the gala, Nanci looked so beautiful - sorry I did not get pics, we hoped to at Nanci's suggestion but it just didn't work out with the crowd etc and besides David had a sleeping Wyatt on his shoulder when it came time to leave. I think David knew I was disappointed but then teased saying ... "well ... you did get a lot of pictures earlier today" (referring to the golf) I smiled back and said "True" but I wanted to say "but not with you in that shirt!!" He was wearing the neatest white linen shirt ... so soft ...and boy did it emphasis his physique!! LOL!!

Impact is being released on DVD on 1 September with

a making of featurette and deleted scenes.

I have ordered my copy how could I not - I really enjoyed Impact so can't wait to see it on DVD. The cost is supposed to be $24.96 but Amazon have it for $17.49 (plus postage obviously if you live outside the US).

Just couldn't wait to share the good news with you all. Now all we need is The Rainbow Tribe!!

  - High Definition. Standard DVD technology can't handle the new high-def stuff, so they had to come out with a new format. There were two (HDDVD and BlueRay), but Sony (Bluray) learned their lesson before (VHS vs Beta) and they bought their victory this time. Too bad, because HDDVDs were cheaper to make (they could be made on the same equipment as standard DVDs and BluRays have to be made on their own special equipment). Toshiba (HDDVDs) really dropped the ball with that one. That was a great marketing tool. But Sony had already given financial incentives to and made exclusivity contracts with big name studios like Warner. - The answer is no you cannot play a blu ray disc on a normal dvd player. You have to have a blu ray dvd player which are at the moment a little more expensive than a normal player but I am told has better picture and audio sound (obviously only if you have a good TV as well).     - Yes, agree about last summer, and this summer is the same. There is no JAG scheduled for August. USA premieres most of their own original programming in the summer, and the August schedule is full of that, including many (!) marathons of these programs plus others, like NCIS. Perhaps they will answer the emails (directly or on their Forum). We probably won't really know their actual intentions, until see Sept/Oct schedules in print. From my 1996 copyrighted manuscript/screenplay when I first wrote this story (1994-1996) I have decided to come out with six issues of this story. Soon to be launcehed in comic book stores later this summer 2009.
He gets captured, tortured and rescued by Navy Seals. During his tribulations later after an accident, and eagle spirit saves his life and he devlops some super powers and goes on to fight terrorists.
It is a hard hitting book and I think that DJE is the perfect actor for this book. I just realized as I am writing this, that the hero is called DJ.
David Jefferson who goes on to become
"AMERICAN SCREAMING EAGLE".
Without divulging too much of the story, DJE fits the part. Can anyone steer me to the right people to contact him?
