Question for all of DJE's patient and loyal fans: There are a number of projects to look forward to: The Rainbow Tribe, Gooby, The Guard, Impact and Mirabilis, so far. Maybe we could discuss which one(s) we are most anxiously awaiting and why. - Well, I'm looking forward to all of it, but as the The Rainbow Tribe that I am hoping it will come into my country so I prefer watching the theater, As for Mirabis will be in Sci-Fi channel that I am hoping not to get too scarry movie. The Impact I havent heard anything from it but I thought it would be coming soon, bec of Mirabilis will be on real soon. Also, as for Gooby I'm sure it will be coming up soon. And as for Guard came on from Sept. 2007 with few episodes. I guess I have to be very patient with all these movies will be coming up soon. - lets see.........I can't pick just one.....but I am MOST waiting for The Rainbow Tribe, Impact and Mirabilis....(and only because these will be very different roles for him.........and I love that he is taking roles where we get to see him in a very different light.)............then Gooby and The Guard.     - it was not cancelled. It was the number 1 rated new Canadian drama on last year. They only had 7 episodes filmed (because of the weather) for season 1....that is why it stopped. - I think 'Impact' would be the one I'm most looking forward to. Miribilis after that. I havent been able to get into 'The Guard', since our friends in Canada are the only ones who get to watch that.(though I think I'd be pretty frustrated about not getting to see him in every episode) I'd love to see Gooby and Rainbow Tribe but I havent gotten my hopes up because the possibility of my getting to see them is pretty small. - I will be looking forward to Impact and Mirabilis but, I presume, they will be shown, end of 2008 or maybe 2009. The Rainbow Tribe will be shown in the US for now so I'll be hoping it will be shown in Canada. The Guard, I am in Canada and can see it but I guess he may not be there in many episodes. I saw on ET Canada where they were showing coming shows for the fall and The Guard was included. I saw the new Laura and I thought she looked a lot like the other one. They did not show David. - Great post Joan! I would have to say as far as content RT is what I am most anxious for. I have heard from a couple of different people associated with the movie that have said what a great performance David gave. I guess after that I would have to say Impact and Mirabilis. Those because they will be David heavy. I am certainly looking forward to David's conclusion on the Guard (my opinion only - no official word on that, just going from the sides etc.) and Gooby but I don't think either of those will be David heavy. - I see that RT was nominated for Best Picture from the movies they are presenting. A Best Supporting Actor has also been nominated. Since I read that it is David's performance of a lifetime, I find myself a little chagrined that he wasn't nominated. The same thing happened with TMWLH. Wendy won for Best Actress but David wasn't even nominated. I think the project of Davids I am awating with the most eagerness is "Mirabilis". I saw that many of the nominations were to lesser known actors... I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I don't really know how the film festival process works. - I'm looking forward to Impact and Mirabilis, because, as Cindy indicated, they will be David heavy. Just love to see that man move. Hopefully since RT is gaining more public attention that it will hit theaters and then DVD. Eagerly look forward to that. - For me anything at this point but seriously -- RT has always struck me as something I wanted to see.   - It requires time for post production. That can include editing, audio, special effects production, etc. That can often take several weeks/months to complete. I suspect that, at least in the case of the Sci Fi Channel, they would also need to set up an advertisement campaign to indicate when it will be shown. - I am most looking forward to RT because it sounds like such a wonderful story and, of course, David's part is key and central. I really wanted to see Gooby. Actually, I was so hoping to catch some or any of his new projects before I left the States in August, but, alas, won't be so lucky. I've yet to see him on a 'first-run' basis -- always years afterward. Hey, he's still as good as it gets so I'm not complaining!!! While here in the Sates, I caught 2 movies, 'Holiday Affair' (is that the exact name -- forgive me if i got that wrong?) and 'Code 11-14' (again, not sure of the exact title!), and what a treat!!! Anyway, I'm so looking forward to reading about all you lucky folks who will be going to film festivals and screenings. Make sure you let David know how much we enjoy his work!! - I look forward to all of his projects. If I really have to pick one, I would pick RT because it probably has elements of sadness, agony, comedy, hilariousness and inspiration. DJE should have opportunities to show off his talents. Imagine the variety of emotions that we can see in his eyes and facial expressions under different circumstances!   - As a dialer-upper, I just want to comment that in some respects it is nice to have pics down-load (even tho it takes a little bit) when getting onto the message board, but one thing I noticed today is with the pics "inside" you know where your reply-post will end up. I always have a hard time figuring that out and sometimes the post has nothing to do with the picture it wound up under. However, like you ED, I will keep checking whereever they show up. Another "normal" 2-hours daily/10-episode week, all from Season 6. "Family Secrets" airing early/out-of-order to accommodate l of the 2 "two-parters" on tap. No storyline damage, but there is reference to the death of Bud/Harriet's baby, which is not shown until the next day's eps.
MELROSE PLACE:
The last 3 of the 5 eps David did, showing this week ---- 2 TOMORROW on Monday, and the last one in the FIRST hour on Tuesday. These aired in January of 1995.
CONNECTIONS:
One of Melrose Place stars, Daphne Zuniga, became his co-star for Degree of Guilt, later that same year.         Not to be a pest about this, Liz, but I believe that pic was taken a couple of years before his knee injury. The operation he had on his knee (ACL) is very slow to heal and often ends the careers of professional athletes. I know 'cause I was sorta in that biz for a number of years and my ex (even though he had Michael Jordon's surgeon do his ACL work) was never the same, knee wise.         Maybe he should have a brace, so I know he always do with his athlete would helps him a lot everyday. He was involved the marathons, trialothons, etc. to supportive for charity events, I think that was great for him to helping people. I don't know if he still involves with it currently.         Ya know RD, your post doesn't exactly sound positve... and people are a lot more likely to accept a slightly a slightly negative comment if you were a known person of our community. But you don't get to 'lurk' and then only come out with comments that can easily be construed as negative and call us 'typical' for calling you on it. I just found out that David's movie "The Rainbow Tribe" is going to be at the Rhode Island International Film Festival on Tuesday, August 5th, 2008 at noon (at that is the only showing during the event).

I spoke with one of the organizers there, and they asked that everyone who wants to buy tickets be a bit more patient as they are updating their website to add a red "buy tickets" button right beside the movie listing. They request that you purchase any and all tickets you might want through the website. All updates should be complete in 24 hours (once the red "buy tickets" button is there, then you will know the updates are done... ).

Here is the direct link to the schedule page, and you will see "The Rainbow Tribe" listed on the second day. Once the website updates are complete, and the 'buy tickets' button appears beside the movie, just click on it and follow the instuctions.................that is, if you are wanting to go!!!! LOL

- William Petersen does not leave CSI, he is producer of CSI Las Vegas but now is making a play in a theater and also he has a problem with his heart, namely health. And he may not appear as much as before but not what is going to leave. Anyway I too believe that CSI has counted the days. At the moment all the chapters are very similar.But the truth is that it is a series that is worldwide and in that sense any actor certainly is delighted to work on it .. but really I do not think that resist much longer. Hey guys - screencaps for ep "Survivors" have been updated. Gotta love Harm in a suit! I enjoyed this episode not only for all the Harm related humor, action, and 'heroness' but for the story itself. I can't tell you why - words are difficult for me sometimes - but I really related to Col Anderson. I felt his pain, confusion, and desperateness. We see Harm's loyalty and bonding again with an elder officer that always tugs at my heart strings. I give this one a 10!

- This is a great episode. Just watched it again. Harm is always the hero of course but that deputy really was a bully. I'm glad Harm's bluff worked. It was the first real look at Harm's respect and friendship for former military members and I do believe this was our first look at Harm in a suit.
