Great Episode! Intrigue, romance, and comedy! What more could you want? LOL!! Harm's dream - hysterical! The court case interesting and seeing Harm angry, controlled but seething, was great. Don't think we have quite seen that emotion that way.

So what are your thoughts on the episode?

- Took a circuitous route and found the scs all on my lonesome. Not a bad episode at all. Had to reverse so many times just to watch Rabb get into the ring with such agility; was that his dad also in the dream? Love it, love it that Singer put one over on Mac causing the Admiral to read her the riot act (which left her running to Grumby). Didn�t care much for Rabb �sucking up� to Renee and what was that she was almost wearing when she went for her lasagna supper. Did I detect something out of the ordinary with Rabb's voice at the end?         Oh, I'm SO glad you had success with the carrot cake! I'm a dietitian and recipes that work are kind of my business and this one has NEVER failed for me, either!! There's a plethora of cookbooks and recipes 'out there' and it's downright disgraceful when recipes don't work -- all that work and good ingredients down the drain -- I can't stand when that happens! And, like I said, over all of my moves over the years, I've had to bake it in so many different ovens, and the timing was always different, but usually around the hour mark +/- 15 minutes, so that sounds right. Meet Jim Conlon. Many of you have met him ... many have not. Most of us feel like we lost him waaayyy to soon. He was a wonderful character with so much promise.

Well if you enjoyed him like I did I think you will really enjoy this... Our talented Laurie pointed her creativity towards Close to Home and came up with the most amazing collages!! They are all posted on the CTH Filmography page Also on that page is a video that was used as a preview to the Season 2 of CTH. Additionally the screencaps for the first episode Community have been updated.

Now after you have looked at all that ... go back to the collages ... look closely. There is a common thread through all of them. Do you see it? If so can you figure out where it comes from or what it is? If so ... DO NOT POST it here ... instead email me with your answer. This is the first contest of our Davidathon!! And I have a nice little prize for the person that figures it out.

So enjoy all the wonderful items to look at and then put your thinking caps on. Lets see ... I want to give everyone time so ... I take your guesses thru Saturday and anounce the winner on Sunday.

Flashback Tuesday - there are two - they are very similar! Thet are from when ET visited the set of Close to Home. The two versions are what aired on TV and what was online. Thanks to AJ for helping with the transcripts.

The clips are pretty short but I have a very specific reason for choosing them which you will figure out when you see what I have for you tomorrow!

- Oh - some of you have already noticed that audio is back on yesterday's recruitment clip - however as of about 15 mins ago I reloaded the clip again because although the other one had audio the quality was not good. - I LOVE these clips, especially in the first where all 6'4" of him come(s) striding to the table with page in hand. So sad, the loss of this show, even though I've never seen it. What a terrible pity that CTH was canceled. CBS still hasn't found a successful show to replace its time slot. They now have "Medium" which was canceled from NBC filling it. - This was also a favorite of mine. Loved the scenes where the commercial was unveiled and Mac, Bobbi and Renee were laughing as they "chatted" about Harm. I did feel very sorry for him that Mac was so devious to call Renee to the stand on the side of the prosecution. Mac obviously didn't take Harm's feelings into the mix. Hunk of the month, 11/15 update: David is 9th at 3415 votes and Pattinson is now 1st with 3994, a difference of 579 votes. Seems we are losing voters, only 1019 votes for 5 days compared to 1389 for Pattinson, even Boreanaz had only 1098. Pattinson is popular because of the release of the Twilight movie. Interesting episode! Some very funny moments amongst the very serious story line. I wouldn't say it was necessarily Harm lite but everything we saw was pretty much the same. However, if you really pay attention there are some nuances that are delightful - Eyebrows, head tilts, half smirks, etc.

So, I wouldn't call it a favorite but I didn't dislike it either. What are your thoughts?

- Enjoyed Harm's comments to the controller about the plane handling like a whale and once the plane had landed the controller telling "Navy" that he just cost him $50 (?) - I assume betting whether or not he could land the large plane - we had no doubts. Also, had a chance to see how Harm interacted with Mac and Renee in the same situation. Agree, the controller and Navy pilot exchanges really were fun. And, of course, the complex story about things that happen in wartime. First and foremost - Happy Veterans Day! After Sue's photos Friday and AJ's photos yesterday I feel like an echo - but I don't think it can be said too many times.

When I was searching my various picture folders for today's Veteran's post I came across some images I had forgotten about. They were created for JAG FFE. They are quite fun and since they are centered around Washington DC monuments and the Naval Academy, today seemed like as good a day as any to post them. Sending a big thank you to Janet Potter for her work on the DC images. Here's one to see the others click here.

Good Morning! Cindy is working hard on the beautiful calendars for next year. Stay tuned for information on that soon! So......we're going to have TUESDAY--IN--THE--PAST today! And we want to commemorate an event that happened 234 years ago, on November 10, l775 (that definitely qualifies as "the past" we think!!) -- Cindy/AJ, Tuesday, November 10, 12:33:15am [26]
Well......today is the birthday (!) of the Marine Corps. On 11/10/1775, it was "born" when 2 battalions of Continental Marines were formed in Philadelphia as naval infantry, a job they perform to this day. Over time, their mission has not changed, but has developed with new methods and technology. Without doubt, the Marine Corps is now the dominant force of amphibious warfare. Interesting......The Corps is one of the smallest of the 7 U.S. Military Services, only the Coast Guard being smaller. As of October, 2009, with both men and women serving, there are just over 203,000 active Marines and just under 40,000 reservists.

Today we honor them by remembering David in his JAG Marine roles. The two sets of pictures Cindy and I have put together not only honor the Marine Corps, but David's wonderful (!) portrayal of those in the serious business of protecting and fighting for us and our Country. They'll be up in a bit, without further comment. So do enjoy!

- I was once invited to a 'Marine Ball' in The Netherlands and seeing the marines in their dress uniforms and performing their salutes and ceremonies -- it took my breath away!! The pride of all the Americans there was palpable and the non-Americans who attended were clearly impressed. The Naval Attache,at the time, was from Philly, as I am, and he told me the history of the Corps. Go, Philly!! This episode is pretty Harm lite but the few scenes with him are good ones! His ribbing of Mac and the ring - too funny! and the last scene where he is stuck in Iceland - also very cute.

I love that you can still see evidence of the Mic fight. It is that kind of consistency and attention to detail that kept JAG high in the charts for so long!

- I liked this episode even though it was Harm lite as you pointed out Cindy. The facial bruises and cuts from the Mic/Harm fight were very realistic. Also funny was Bud's garbled speech because of his wired jaw. I believe this is the episode where Harm and Mac were sarcastically discussing their respective current mates and Mac referred to Renee as his "video princess". Am I correct about that? - Such a good episode. Just loved to see the Admiral (with his gruff self) stepping in to defend Gunny. Always love Gunny and his straightforwardness � lots of words to describe him: candid, precise, veracious, blunt, frank, plainspoken/outspoken; just plain straight-up, yet so polite and diplomatic! That�s what it�s al about AJ; Harm-light yet you captured a good number of him.
