  CONNECTIONS: GCB and SCOUNDRELS
  The last two episodes of GCB include the not-so-nice character of wealthy horseman, Mason Massey, who keeps trying to seduce Cricket
  during their business meetings. Here's a recent pic of the actor playing him, Grant Bowler......born in
  New Zealand in 1968, and later moving to Australia at a young age. In 1991, graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art with a
  degree in Acting/Performing Arts. His first role in l994 was in a 3-year-running series, and he's been a busy actor siuce, mostly on television,
  with guest shots and recurring characters on 8 different series. Since GCB, has done 2 movies, plus the role of Richard Burton in the 2012
  TV Movie "Liz and Dick", and is in the cast of the current SyFy series "Defiance". Whenever he's in Australia for a stay, he teaches drama
  at a film and television acting school in Sydney.
  
  Now, some of you folks from "down under" know what the connection is here! As for GCB, David did not have any scenes with him, and
  don't know whether they ran into each other on the set or not. But of note, one of the series Mr. Bowler was in was "Outrageous Fortune",
  the Australian series on which "Scoundrels" was based. And......Mr. Bowler played the character of none other than Wolfgang West! In
  these two series, there were different casts, of course, and the story of this family was played with the flavor of the home country in which it
  was filmed, so no comparisons that way. But......to have two actors, playing the same character in two different series, and then both ending
  up in the same cast of a third unrelated series......Now that's one unusual connection!

In addition to all the other connections, Grant Bowler was a recurring character on 'Ugly Betty', which was directed by Victor Nelli, who also directed many episodes of GCB. Gibbs is in need of expert legal counsel because he's in hot water with a DOD investigator (Colin Hanks) over the team's aggressing handling of a Mossad leader's assassination".   • Though I will be happy to see John Jackson as AJ Chewidden, I still think it would be important to have David as a lawyer for Gibbs since Harm said to tell Gibbs "I owe him one" for getting him freed on the Singer murder.   • It will be nice to see JMJ. and even conceivably AJ Chegwidden however in an interview out with one of the producers it was stated that AJ takes time off from his *high powered DC law firm* in order to help. So is that not a re-write of history? AJ did not retire to work for a high powered law firm. So I guess I was a little put off. Therefore I was also glad it wasn't Harm/David because I don't want his character 'messed' with.   • I would only like to see Captain or maybe Admiral (by now) Harmon Rabb as a guest star on NCIS perhaps representing Gibbs in a law suit. And, based on what David said in the People: Close Up Interview from July 2010, I don't think the "Father of NCIS and the Grandfather of LL Cool J" has any interest in appearing on either of these shows.     • If I may, sorry, no. There are Syfy channels in a number of countries, and although they have access to a lot of the same programs, each one arranges their own schedule as they see fit. Kids sure enjoy the big loveable Gooby, and can identify with Willie's life, including his frustration with his parents.
