  Some of you may have seen this, but for those that haven't, thought you might enjoy this "blurb" that was on a page of the TRT site about tonight-----
  
  "It's time to roll out the red carpet Hollywood style, at the Egyptian Theater. Please join David James Elliott, the entire cast of kids, and the rest of this amazing cast, in celebration of the feel good movie of the year, The Rainbow Tribe. The gala sets off at 7:00 p.m., and the film begins at 9:00 p.m. There will be an open bar for adults, soft drinks for kids and plenty of food for everyone. A live band, entertainers and other celebrities will be on hand! So dress for the camera, as there will be plenty of them flashing away, from paparazzi to the trades and press agencies."
  
  Almost makes us feel like we're there, just a little bit, doesn't it!! BTW, the Egyptian Theater is quite the place. It was built in 1922, and the first movie shown there in 1922, was Robin Hood, starring Douglas Fairbanks. About 10 years ago, American Cinematheque spent about $15 million restoring it. The theater where TRT is going to be shown, I believe if I recall correctly, has about 600 seats. Should be a wonderful evening for our folks!!

  We are here... and ready to have a great evening. The trip has started out great with dinner last night. We met up with Jerri and her husband Richard. We had dinner at the Sportman's Lodge for a little JAG connection. (this is where some of the episode Father's Day was filmed) We had a great time with lots of stories and laughter. It is so fun to meet other DJE fans! And tonight we have abrah and CarolC to hook up with. So with the two husbands, lol, that makes us 7 strong! LOL. Marianne almost joined us but couldn't get all the details worked out at the last minute. Anyway - we have all of you with us in spirit, right??! To be continued ...

  It has recently announced that David James Elliott will be attending the opening night of the Feel Good Film Festival, which is featuring The Rainbow Tribe. • Hunk of the month, 8/20th: Well guys, don't know what happened but David is now 5th!!! with 3478 votes to Matthew Fox's 1st place with 3774 votes. He went from 24th to 5th in 4 days? I did start voting again since the 16th but I only vote 3 times a day. Couldn't have made that much difference.   • According to the USA network schedule, it is on but it is limited. I know that it is affected by the US Open Tennis for the first week and a Monk marathon. It is at least still being shown, I am going to try to think positive. (NT) -- Dani R, Thursday, August 21, 09:38:26am
