Subject: The Spider Woman Strikes Back (1946)

This late entry is up for discussion and is of no relation to the Sherlock Holmes film released in 1944 by Universal, with the only exception of Gale Sondergaard as the lead actress in both. Rondo Hatton appeared in the 46' film with her.

To me, "The Spider Woman Strikes Back" was a little disappointing.
Though not as disappointing as either of these films,
"The She-Wolf Of London," or "The Cat Creeps" (1946)

Sondergaard has a couple of good moments in this film, but Hatton is totally wasted. Part of the film is boring too.

I had this movie on VHS but the tape got ruined. It's been years since I've seen it. SWSB nevers shows up on TV anymore... And it isn't available on DVD.

I'd buy SWSB, or record it if it ever turns up again on TV.

I'd say SWSB is still worth a look though.
