Subject: The Great Impersonation ( 1935 )

Although not a horror film, this 1935 screenplay was considered to be an excellent adaptation of the Oppenheim novel. Good casting and excellent acting. Alan and Tim, you recall when the last time you saw it screen on TV? Torch and Barin, any input?

I have not seen The Great Impersonation, but I notice that its cast includes Valerie Hobson, who portrayed Elizabeth in Bride of Frankenstein the very same year.

I must admit I've never seen this one, and I cannot remember it ever being broadcast in my area, either locally or on a cable station. It sounds interesting though, and as a student of old-time Universal, I'd like the opportunity to see it.
