Subject Author Date I agree. And if I counted right, there will be 20 girls competing at state this year! Isn't that more than any recent years? I give a lot of credit to Jennifer for bringing such a positive light to a failing program. (NT) Anonymous 08:05:53 04/03/12 Tue 20 girls in 2009, 21 in 2010, 16 in 2011 (18 were crowned but 2 girls did not compete). Technically there should be 24 titles this year - Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa and Valley of the Sun. All 4 of those titles are still listed on the Miss AZ website.
