Subject: I have a suggestion for the scheduling of local pageants so as to open as many pageants as possible to all contestants. Divide all authorized locals into 2 groups---east and west. Equal number in each group. No more than one pageant in the east and one pageant in the west would be allowed to be scheduled on the same night. New pageants authorized after the division of locals into groups would be assigned to the appropriate group, and would have choice of remaining dates equally with all other unscheduled pageants in their group. Dates would beapproved by the state pageant on a first-come first served basis, but again, no more than one eastern and one western pageant on the same night. Thoughts?

We are a little over 2 months away from Miss America and as we all know, locals here are happening almost every weekend. While I fully support ALL the young ladies who choose to compete I myself am tired of all the bashing of one person over and over. Tiffany is a wonderful and lovely young woman, whom is still within her rights to compete if she so chooses. With that being said let it alone. If you want to know if she is in pageant go watch or if you are a contestant and don't want to compete against her then don't enter any. Because if you win a local and so does she, GUESS WHAT? You will meet up at State. But for the time being can we suppurt our current Miss Oklahoma and her efforts in perparing for Miss America?

Subject: The 2010 Miss Green Country and Miss Teen Green Country Pageants will be held on Saturday, December 12th. This is a one day event open to contestants statewide. The deadline for submitting applications is Tuesday, December 1st. For an information packet, please email kevinchumley@yahoo.com or you can call 918-955-7171. We hope that this date following university finals will be a great way to see or make friends and have the chance for “something special” for the holidays. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 12th.

Subject: It is with a heavy heart that I write this post Chairman Emeritus Charles Welch passed away this morning. Charlie made a huge impact on my life as I am sure he did with other pageant contestants. My thoughts and paryers go out to the family in their time of loss.
