For all the shipperdedippers out there....

You know.. if they hadn't axed this scene, I would have liked last weeks episode a WHOLE lot better. Anyway, from Joseph Mallozzi's Blog:

Carter: So…you seeing anyone?

Keller: What?

Carter: Around the base, you seeing anyone?

Keller: I dunno…I had a moment with - with this…guy. He’s not exactly easy to read so…I guess the short answer is “no”. You?

Carter: Well, I’m the boss, so I can’t really…

Keller: Right Anyone back home?

Carter: Uhm…

Keller: Un-huh, I thought so. Give it up.

Carter: Well, it’s complicated.

Keller: Show me a relationship that isn’t.

Carter: He’s in Washington…I’m here.

Keller: Ouch. Long distance relationship.

Carter: He’s going to retire soon, so maybe -

Keller: Really! Retire? So…an older man, huh?

Carter: Not that much older.

Keller: Washington, older man…is he like a Senator or something? Someone famous? Would I know him?

Carter: Probably not."

Somebody in another thread.... Frances? Asked what I meant by Captain Kirk. What I mean by that is.... I want to watch episodes where SHEPPARD is driving the main story and the other characters are his back up. Like it generally was on Star Trek and Stargate. Yes, occasionally they had other characters centric, but generally speaking it was Captain Kirk and his team. Jack and his team. I don't want to watch an episode of Star Trek about Uhura. Similarly, I don't want to watch an episode about Sam or Jenifer, or Rodney for that matter. At least not coninually. And I LIKE these characters. But.. I want to see a cowboy movie. I want to see Sheppard and his team go out on an adventure and save the day! I don't want to watch three secondary characters in a hole making juvinile talk that for me in some cases was offensive.

Next week's episode is about Ronan and Teal'c. Unless the episode is previewed: "In this very special episode, Teal'c always secretly longing to be a barber by trade, taps Ronan with a tire tool and shaves his HAIR," I'm not interested. WHERE is the rest of the team? I don't CARE about Ronan and Teal'c.

The show has become more of an ensemble... which I don't like. If I want ensemble I'll go watch old Friends episodes.

BOY! Am I GRUMPY this morning or WHAT?!!! LOLOLOL!!!!! OH my. O.k. Positive, positive, positive!

-Carson is coming back!
-Lorne is coming back!
-Ronan is cutting his hair!
--The show is renewed to season 5! There is still time!
There's a new Star Trek Movie coming out... and the actor that plays Carson is in it! No... unfortunately he won't be playing Scotty or Doctor McCoy.
-Sam is still talking about Jack...even though the lines were cut. HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL FOR A LAVISH MARRIAGE CEREMONY!
-These puppies will be out of my house in EIGHT DAYS!!!! Do you have any idea how much newspaper FOUR labrador puppies can use in a day? An HOUR? SIgh. O.k. that last part was O.T.... but.. SOMETHING TO BE POSITIVE ABOUT! LOL!

I think I need a cup of coffee. I'll do better next time!

I mean, I like the occasional slice 'o life episodes, but I like the shoot 'em ups, too, so, I suppose your angst is well founded. And I knew I wasn't seeing things when I caught that Teal'c-on-Atlantis preview a while ago. I'm surprised they only ran it once.
