Subject: Lu's Thoughts and Feelings on last Friday's episodes...

Stargate: Wasn't as good as last week, but I really liked having Jack back. That alone made it worth watching. Also enjoyed Vala. Particularly the scene where she is sitting on Daniel's lap discussing his "fate." Referring to Whoolsey as a "Prankster" practically had me on the floor laughing. Too funny. Also got a chuckle over Jack's "Fruit Basket or Gift Certificate" as a thank you from the Ancients. Having said all that... I was COMPLETELY lost at the end and did NOT understand what happened. Can someone give me a clue? Sigh.

Atlantis. Loved it. Lots of "moments." Rodney lamenting he might turn into a giant mutation or become Invisible and Shephard commenting that it sounded cool, as HE turned into a bug! LOL! Then Rodney following it up by asking if they could see him. LOLOL!

Ooo! I FINALLY like Ronan. DOn't like his hair, but he's finally grown on me. ALSO, Elisabeth was very likable in this episode. Wow! O.k. back to Rodney...

Reading minds. ROTFLOLOL!!! ANd Weir? Shephard?? saying there was something easier about not having to actually talk to him! Also, Shephard trying to teach Rodney how to meditate.. too funny.

Really liked how he tried to make amends w/ Zelenka, the tea thing with Teyla was a bit.. much, the book for Weir, healing Ronon's scars (that was really touching). I was waiting for a like scene w/ Shephard, but I don't think they delivered very well on that one.

Oh my gosh.. the "Death Scene" made me CRY! Good heavens! What a tear jerker! I thought I was watching Little House on the Prairie. Golly. I needed a box o kleenex! ANyway, liked the ending. Ronan hug. Rodney reminding Weir she said she loved him, etc. It was sweet. Loved the ep.

[> I need a new VCR. I got SG-1 this time, and half of Atlantis (but since I got to see the greatest kids in the world put on a kickbutt play that night it was kinda worth it). Anyway... What happened at the end - they got Merlin's device through the supergate and are assuming it has killed the Ori themselves, but the armies of the Ori still came through. Is that what you didn't get or was there something else? Is it wrong that I still think Danny boy's hot even as a prior? Which off topic again a little - did anyone else see 24 last week? The boy couldn't stay dressed to save his life! And he's a bad boy! All that said, I did quite enjoy Jack being back and am still holding out for that one time where he and Danny will admit they're each other's best friend. I mean, really,,, all the things they've been through and they can't say it? MEN! Ok - going to work now before I'm terribly horribly late. -- JamiMuse, 05:09:15 05/07/07 Mon [1]

[> [> Actually.. I think my brain has shut down until after the homeschool year is over. I don't know what my NAME is anymore much less what is happening on this show. I don't know why I found it so difficult to follow, but boy.. I didn't know what was happening. Did enjoy Jack, though. -- Luoodles ARE WE THERE YET?????????, 20:17:19 05/09/07 Wed [1]

[> I got like a hundred (okay three) calls while I was watching SG-1 so I couldn't get in the groove. I did like Jack back. Why didn't they dial back out of the super gate once they sent the device through so they couldn't dial in? I mean they didn't know if it would work or not, right? I didn't like Danny as a prior. Kept want him to be Danny on 24. I liked Atlantis, thought the tea was touching, Lu, how often is he thoughtful? Gonna miss Weir. I know she'll be around, but it won't be the same. -- Carrotts, 06:47:15 05/07/07 Mon [1]

[> [> The tea was touching, but still I thought a bit much. ALSO, it was a WEEK before the anniversary of her fathers death.. although.. I suppose he figured he wouldn't be around in a week. I don't know. It seemed sort of.. I don't know. It was the only one that didn't really flow well I thought. But then again.. I think a lot of things.. or.. maybe the opposite. LOL! -- Luoodles runnng after her brainy... I think it jumped out the window sometime last week....., 20:22:09 05/09/07 Wed [1]

[> Really liked McKAy in this one...Liked Zelenka(I always do, but he was very cute tonight!). Was worrie when he bought it, but Rodney saved the day. When does Carson die(NOOOO!!!)??? SG1 kept me say.ing......"Are you kidding"?? Loved RDA, but no one can come up with a way to teat Daniel before releasing the wepon, and why would Adriane trust Daniel? Or did she play him? Whattcha think? -- Frances, 07:35:45 05/07/07 Mon [1]

[> SG1's come up with so many ways to invade Daniel's psyche that I wasn't sure what to make of his explanation that Merlin helped keep him separate from the prior stuff. It wasn't unrealistic that everyone doubted he was who he claimed to be, but there were so many potential double crosses, I'm not sure anyone - including the writers/actors - really knew what was going on. As for why they didn't re-establish the wormhole at the end, I think it had to do with not enough power to start up the supergate and then activating a redundant wormhole to keep it open. -- KatRose, 10:02:01 05/07/07 Mon [1]

[> [> I liked Atlantis. I've liked Ronan for a while, but really got to see him as he reacted to Rodney's "gift" and then when Rodney didn't die, how Ronan was truly happy. It definitely feels like we're winding down the "team" as we prep for Carson's death and Weir's absence. I hope the stories continue to entertain. -- KatRose, 10:03:58 05/07/07 Mon [1]

[> [> [> Whoa, in that case I never would have shut down the gate. Of course I'd probably be running from a prior as I type. LOL! I've always liked Ronan. I think I could take the team winding down on Atlantis better if the team on SG-1 wasn't really winding down. Can't take too much closure at once. -- did I mention I was change-phobic Carrotts?, 11:48:34 05/07/07 Mon [1]

[> [> [> [> I don't know.. I think Daniel did pretty well.. but.. my lands... can they come up with something NEW for him. I mean.. Daniel in peril, Daniel / Sybil, Daniel possessed, Daniel is or isn't Daniel, etc. etc. "I" think they should just let Daniel be Daniel the Archeolo... Digger upper person. Sigh. my brain is GONE, folks. Anyway, I liked the ep o.k. I just didn't know what was going on w/ the ships et al. I will have to tune in to 24 to see what "Daniel" is doing over there. Anyway, Atlantis sold me on Ronan w/ the happy your alive thing w/ Rodney. Very sweet. Am I rambling.. cause boy... it sure seems like it.. and if "I" think I'm rambling, I must REALLy be rambling...so... Umm... That's all then. ~cough~ -- Luoodles WHAT TIME IS IT?????, 20:41:35 05/09/07 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> ..gist? LOLOL! Lu, you always give me a laugh. Hey I'm touring the AF Academy tomorrow. woot! I'd look for the gang, but they are done and even if they weren't they would be up at Cheyenne mountain working and not here, and even if they were at home their Colorado Springs is really Vancouver so they wouldn't be here anyway. [> [> [> [> [> [> I'm jealous you're going out to the Academy. I grew up in the Springs and used to take a loooooooong bike ride with my dad to the Academy - about 25 miles roundtrip - once a summer. I don't think I could get even halfway there, let alone into the grounds, up to the chapel and back home again. They'd need a paramedic standing by. LOL Anyway, enjoy your visit. It's a gorgeous campus in a really wonderful city. -- KatRose, 21:30:25 05/09/07 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Lu and bicycles never quite got along. I tried, but... usually found myself skih skih bounce skih skih skiiiiiiddddding along on the drive way. My dear, dear sister who looking back, I gotta WONDER if she wanted to be an only child, shoved me off DOWN HILL on my very FIRST 2 wheeler experience. .. toward a parked car. I pulled back on the handlebars and said, "Whoa!" but.. it didn't listen. I ended up splitting my head open. My sister tried to hide the blood for when our parents got home, but THEY FOUND OUT RIGHT AWAY! Hey, go figure. Subsequent bike "rides" did not go much better. I then determined sticking with the pony was a better idea.. much to the pony's utter horror. Actually, things didn't go much better on the pony either as his mission in life was to buck me off, wipe me off, or knock me off on whatever object he could come across. I have to say, once I learned to ride that maniac, everything else seemed easy. -- Actually, I loved the onrey little thing and thought he was right up there with Black Beauty, Secretariat, and Flicka!, 05:35:01 05/10/07 Thu [1]
