Lu and bicycles never quite got along. I tried, but... usually found myself skih skih bounce skih skih skiiiiiiddddding along on the drive way. My dear, dear sister who looking back, I gotta WONDER if she wanted to be an only child, shoved me off DOWN HILL on my very FIRST 2 wheeler experience. .. toward a parked car. I pulled back on the handlebars and said, "Whoa!" but.. it didn't listen. I ended up splitting my head open. My sister tried to hide the blood for when our parents got home, but THEY FOUND OUT RIGHT AWAY! Hey, go figure. Subsequent bike "rides" did not go much better. I then determined sticking with the pony was a better idea.. much to the pony's utter horror. Actually, things didn't go much better on the pony either as his mission in life was to buck me off, wipe me off, or knock me off on whatever object he could come across. I have to say, once I learned to ride that maniac, everything else seemed easy. -- Actually, I loved the onrey little thing and thought he was right up there with Black Beauty, Secretariat, and Flicka!, 05:35:01 05/10/07 Thu [1]
I'm quite sure he thought me the bane of his existance... especially since I rode him EVERY day, dressed him up, hauled him around, and generally made his life as miserable as a seven year old could. Oh well.. I'm sure DEEP DOWN, he really did love me. ~cough~ -- Luoodles... I will hug him and kiss him and pat him on the head and I will call him GEORGE!, 05:36:24 05/10/07 Thu [1] |
