Subject: The one that came with the 8th season set was 44 minutes long, the replacement DVD was supposed to be approximately 75 minutes long (taking into account the lack of commercials it translates into 60 mins of edited Threads on the original disk and the original 90 minute episodes on the replacement disk). I got my set and immediately lent it to a friend, so I don't know for certain what's on or not on the replacement disk. Best suggestion is to look at the time code and see if you have the shorter edition.

Besides it being longer, the obvious difference is that they cut out most the scenes with Teal'c and the rest of the Jaffa in the shorter version, so, if you have lots of scenes with Teal'c throughout the episode, then you have the replacement disk. If you only have Teal'c at the very end of the episode, you have the shorter version. Does that help?
