I guess you all should give yourselves a hand. (Either that, or maybe spring for a few days at a nice quiet sanitarium. LOL) It's been awhile, so I dropped in and saw the post with all the movie titles. Are you guys crazy or something? WAIT! Don't answer that. Let me just say that I'm impressed ..... and that it really caught the wild, hysterical flavor of the posters ....... LIKE LU ~cough~ .......... and it made me laugh. Great job! And for my patience and endurance in scrolling through the ENTIRE thing, I was rewarded by seeing STAR WARS finally mentioned at the end. I can't WAIT to see what's here next time I drop in.

Lu maybe you need to contact us for a timeshare on the AquaBago we're building at Kat's BFZ board. We can drive or fly or sail you somewhere nice and quiet. Here's a plus: you'll have diplomatic immunity while you've got the AB, which should come in handy considering how things seem to just *happen* to you ..... your kids can launch potatoes (and possibly start WW3, I'm not sure) .....does your husband like boats? Stargate casts sign on for new season
MONDAY - NOVEMBER 21, 2005

The full principal casts of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis have officially signed on for another year of adventures, The SCI FI Channel announced today.

Ben Browder ("Cameron Mitchell"), Amanda Tapping ("Samantha Carter"), Christopher Judge ("Teal'c"), Michael Shanks ("Daniel Jackson"), and Beau Bridges ("Hank Landry") will return for the record-breaking tenth season of SG-1. The team will be joined by newcomer Claudia Black ("Vala Mal Doran"), SG-1's newest full-time cast member.

Atlantis's Joe Flanigan ("John Sheppard"), Torri Higginson ("Elizabeth Weir"), David Hewlett ("Rodney McKay"), Rachel Luttrell ("Teyla Emmagan"), Paul McGillion ("Carson Beckett"), and Jason Momoa ("Ronon Dex") will return for Season Three of the hit spin-off series.

Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper will return as executive producers on both series.

Both shows enter production in early 2006 for a summer premiere on SCI FI. The current season returns with all-new episodes January 6.

Claudia Black joins SG-1 cast
MONDAY - NOVEMBER 21, 2005

Claudia Black has sauntered her way into the hearts of many Stargate fans this year, playing the sexy thief Vala Mal Doran in eight episodes of SG-1's ninth season. Now Black is set to join the long-running series as a full-time cast member.

Black will join Ben Browder ("Cameron Mitchell"), Amanda Tapping ("Samantha Carter"), Christopher Judge ("Teal'c"), Michael Shanks ("Daniel Jackson"), and Beau Bridges ("Hank Landry") for the successful series' tenth season, premiering next summer on The SCI FI Channel.

The 33-year-old, Sydney-born actress is best known to sci-fi fans as Officer Aeryn Sun on SCI FI's late, lamented series Farscape. She has also appeared in such films and TV series as "Pitch Black," "Queen of the Damned," Hercules, and more. She made her first Stargate appearance in Season Eight, hijacking the Earth ship Prometheus and attempting to sell it to a pair of fellow thieves in "Prometheus Unbound."

Black appeared in the first six episodes of Season Nine, pinch-hitting for co-star Amanda Tapping during her maternity leave. Vala will return for the final two episodes of the season this March.

      - Gosh. We thought it was one of the best family movies we've seen in forever. With the exception of the guy on the top of the train (TOTALLY unnecessary and unwanted) we thought it was fantastic. Yes, we've had and read the book and it's always been a favorite... all the more reason we were looking forward to the movie. We surprised the children one day by taking them to see it... something they don't often get a chance to do...and we ALL loved it. I didn't find it creepy at all. Huh. Have you folks seen the Chevy Chase Christmas movie where he cuts the rope on the tree and it takes out the window and half the house???? LOL!

No.. it wasn't that bad but... yeeeeee! It really, REALLY did NOT look this big when we cut it down. Sigh. Anyway, the children are thrilled. It IS nice.. but... oh my. I'm not sure where we're going to put the CHAIR now... in fact... there really IS no place to put the chair now....which only leaves the COUCH in my little living room. I suppose if we have guests we can just sit them on the floor. I wouldn't be be first time. Fortunately Lu guests sort of go w/ the flow... LOL!

I'm not sure what was going on, but when I finally got into the owner's area of all my boards, I saw a message that said something about turning off the ability to use html in messages, subjects and names. So I did, then saved and backed up the board completely, removing the extra space and then turned on the html again.

We seem to be back.

Sorry for any confusion or inconvenience. Don't have a clue why it was doing that, or what caused it, but it appears to be working again.

- I haven't seen this one yet, but... on a similar note... I was watching Country Music Video's today on t.v. and they had one w/ Brad Pasely (I think) in which William Shatner was prominately featured. I was ROLLING it was so darn funny. ... Oh.. and speaking of Captain Kirk... did anyone catch the Atlantis preview tonight during the Stargate Marathon? It showed Major Sheppard w/ a beard and stuck on some planet ala the 100 Days Stargate episode.
