- I'm sorry. I've just been VERY BUSY and stressed. Anyway, my initial results came back GOOD, w/ one suspicious spot that is going to be looked at again by "my" doctor. The next step is yes or no to surgery. The technician told me he thought all was well. I'm waiting for a phone call today on the surgery nod. If it's truly NOTHING I'm thinking I should just leave it be. On the OTHER hand... it's not suppose to BE THERE... and w/ my history.... Idon't know. I'm not exactly fond of having yet ANOTHER hospital trip. Sheesh. I'm getting OLD. Sigh. Acutally... I suppose that's preferable to the OTHER option! LOL! Anyway, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!!! Apparently there was a convention in which the actress that plays Elizabeth was on hand. I couldn't believe the difference in her appearance. She looks WAY better off the set it seems. Her HAIR for starters. What do you think? I'm thinking she needs to give some pointers to the hair and makeup department. She's way better at it then they are!

I was over at the old JAG emoticons site and I have one question - how come the diet coke guy got an emoticon and RDA didn't? I think they turned up about as frequently as each other, did they not? ROTFLOL

It seems I've discovered a "lump" where no lump should be. I have tests scheduled for next week(!) and then they said it would be at least another week before they know if it's cancer. I'd much appreciate your prayers, specifically that it not be cancer and also that I not become too stressed out with the waiting.

I've been reading over at GateWorld about poor ratings, etc. I'm wondering if it will be back? I'd hate to see it leave... although I've said many times in the past I thought SG-1 should have gone out while it was still on top. STILL... I've continued to enjoy it, and they do occasionally have a good episode... but it's been a long time since they've had a GREAT episode. LIkewise Atlantis which I also like and would hate to see cancelled. I keep hoping it just has not hit it's stride. (Mostly I keep hoping that new guy will cut his HAIR but that's ANOTHER story...)

My other thought is that possibly in trying to come up with stories for TWO very similar shows... and having been on the air forever... they are running out of new and GOOD ideas. Soooo... what do you folks think???

- I'd hate to see the show just disappear, but I really haven't liked many of this season's eps so far. I couldn't get thru either of the midseason finale episodes (SG1), which is sad because I can usually watch any SG1 ep at least twice.   - I loved the Vala episodes too. I don't think that MGM/Sony was/is trying to cash in so much as they really thought that going another season was a good idea and that while RDA was very important to the show, the fact that he'd been reducing his time on camera for the two prior seasons, meant that he wasn't the only draw for the audience. I just think the writers have forgotten what makes the show enjoyable and have gotten to mired in trying to come up with new mythology.
