Hello everyone. Well it was a sad day last Friday when I attended Tam Paton's funeral. I felt that my passed was catching up with me. I've recorded a programme for BBC RADIO 4 CALLED THE LAST WORD it should be going out next friday evening Im not sure of the time, you could check the BBC website for details. It's all about the early days of the Rollers. I contacted the owner of the folder that turned up at the car boot sale and got a look at it's contents. It is quite interesting in that it contains letters from Bell records to Tam and some contracts for gigs we did in the north of England. Maybe not of any fanancial value but certainly of nostalgic interest to me.

I dont do many live performances but Im in the process of organising a concert in September. If anyones interested keep an eye on myspace.com/nobbyclark and nobbyclarkmusic.com. I will post something as it develops.

We FINNALLY got warm {hot} weather here. Worked outside for a while. Amazing how 85 to 90 degree temps can get to feel so hot after a while. If I go out anymore I'm gonna need spf 1000. [that's just for an hour outside, mind you]

Good morning BCR fans.

I'm posting this message in the hope that somebody can offer me a piece of advice on some memorabilia that I've picked up.

Basically, I'm a local newspaper reporter from Fife, Scotland and yesterday a reader came into our office.

He had picked up a ring bound folder at a car boot sale which is full of rollers receipts from early gig booking, correspendence with Paton regarding gig bookings/fan club pictures etc and also letters from record label people.

The guy who picked this folder up is interested in its value and I'd like to do a little story on him picking up this piece of rollers 'treasure' if that is in fact what it is.

Can anybody advise me if there's an official band fan club anywhere where I can speak with somebody regarding this man's find?

Foolish Child
I sit here dreaming of a man I met once sometime ago.
He is handsome and elegent, a true gentleman.
We met for the briefest of moments in life and have not seen each other since.
I remember him as clearly as I remember waking this morning.
Handsome, adored by hundreds of women, all prettier than me.
I feel like a conceited, foolish child to believe that I could compare to any of them.
To believe that a man like him would want to be with a no one like me.
I see his picture and I feel a pain within - I love him and I know he could not want to return the feeling.
The very first time I saw him my heart began beating again.
I felt as if I were a teenager falling in love for the first time all over again.
He is everything I could want.
But I knew that I was not what he could want.
I can not bring myself to tell him to his face how much I care for him.
I am so afraid of seeing the rejection in his eyes.
I do not know what I would do if I saw that look.
I feel like my heart would stop beating.
I would still live on, but never feel again.
He has no attachment to me nor have I to him.

I fear I am nothing more than just a bored and lonely woman who misread a moment of kindness.
Truly a Foolish Child.

I was just noticing that once again I am the only one posting here. Stop lurking, peeps and post. Makes no difference on the topic - well sort - keep it clean.
Also I would like to know if our dear Mr. Clark will one day be putting some tunes to video. Big thing now. And I know we, your fans, would like to see you in them since getting to concerts [especially here in the states] would be difficult. {That's a hint - in case you couldn't tell}

Hi everyone.How you doing.I've been keeping a low profile recently but I'm back on track. Some of you might be interested to know I met up with Alan Longmuir last week also had a brief talk with Derek. I haven't spoken to either of then for many years. I haven't played live for a while so I'm planning something for late summer.Other news,my album On The Inside is now available on Itunes for anyone interested in individial tracks. Oh and I've had my hair cut short so Ive got no strength left.
