Even though I disagree with Congressman John Dingell (D)-Michigan on many issues, I do agree with him on Second Amendment Rights. He is on the Board of Directors of the National Rifle Association.

He too will not buy into the argument much liberal left has used for many years concerning the Second Amendment. For the Second Amendment is a reserved individual right of self protection for law abiding.

Some throughout this country are in need of certain education over this reality in life.

John Dingell was even challenged by a radical liberal left lady congresswoman nearest his district during the midterm elections of 2002. Her name would be Lynn Rivers. A consolidation of Dingell's district with hers. Michigan's 16th district into a newly developed 15th district. Two Democrats fisting it out, I seem to remember.

All the political maggots like California's Nancy Pelosi and California's Barbara Boxer would carpetbag into the newly consolidated district to try to defeat John Dingell via Lynn Rivers. Through in the "usual suspects" of Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell too.

The carpetbaggers and others crossed into the Dingell district for a political kill. All because he was a standing member on the Board of Directors of the NRA.

I believe even Barbra Streisand added her monetary funds for the Dingell defeat. This from a far distance of California where she is perched over the Pacific Ocean at Paradise Cove, Malibu.

All efforts failed by these same people.

John Dingell defeated Lynn Rivers during the Democrat primary for the newly constructed 15th District.

John Dingell (D) 59%
Lynn Rivers (D) 41%

Simply put the voters of this country need to be educated about the true intent of the Second Amendment and their United States Constitution.
