The recruitmen process to defeat John Dingell was mostly from a group of gun-hating students and alumni plus the usual troublemaking professors from nearby Ann-Arbor University of Michigan.

These included campaign "workers" ringing doorbells, handing out leftwing propaganda, so-called informative "information" on Dingell's membership in the NRA. The usual potato eggheads who members of various liberal left organizations stationed the the nearby Michigan University.

I mean these radical gadflys of the far left loathe sportsmen, hunters, fishermen and outdoorsmen. Dingell backing was from UAW workers who fitted the previous categories.

Like I would write Dingell landslided Rivers 59% to 41%!
