When attending a local community college many years ago and eons back..

I had a speech class.. The one important aspect was of COMMUNICATION as defined... The ability to articulate in a calm, professional expression and of proper modular tone..

And this training was of how to effectively communicate with people when giving a speech..

This concept would apply to one seeking public officer or speaking to many within a hall or an outside rally..

Poor communication skills can destroy a political candidate.. Or the person's arguments and position becomes a moot point... The art of turning people off..

An example of a very poor candidate who cannot communicate effectively???...
