Especially when the area is known for earthquakes which is of the most severe and damaging...

April 18th, 1906... The Great San Francisco Fire & Earthquake Event..

October 17th, 1989... The Loma Prieta Earthquake which destroyed many infrastructures, housings, bridges, apartments as indicated..
