Hi Jim,
A friend of mine raises amherst,silvers,reeves,red and yellow goldens.I buy all his chicks as soon as they feather,so I don't raise these breeds here,but I do have them for sale.I have 2 pairs of red goldens left from last years hatch for sale.
The friend that raises the doves is Carlos.He has talked to Joe Passantino out there in Ca.,he raises a lot of doves also.He got his bleeding hearts from Forrest Newhall in Va.He doesn't have anymore right now,but he will be hatching them.He got 380.00 for the pair Carlos bought.Now he's also looking for nicobars.
I'm thinking of putting a pair of doves in a few of my pheasant pens.I like the australian crested,green wings and the incas.He's going to set me up with crested and grens,but I don't think he likes the incas,so I will be looking for a pair of them later on.Then I would like to get a few different colors of diamond doves.
Do you know anyone that raises pheasants?I need a salvadori hen and 2 grey peacock pheasant hens.
