Hi Nicole,
When we had sgipping problems a while back,I went to the next town over.My post office could not ship, but they could.(Who knows)I get my shipping boxes at cdmejm@brick.net and foam egg shippers from www.gamebirdfarm.com.I ship live birds express overnight,it runs about 35.00 for a pair of adult pheasants.I ship eggs priority. The foam egg shippers fit perfectly in the priority boxes that are free at the post office, and they hold 105 quial eggs or 36 chicken eggs. There is a trick to shipping button quial eggs without any getting broken.
I put a piece of cardboard on the bottom, then a flat foam piece on the bottom, and instaed of removing the circle cuts from the egg shipper, just poke it down enough to fit your eggs in.Next I put enough flat egg foams to make it level with the box, then another piece of cardboard. Then I tape around the entire cardboard and foam with shipping tape. This will keep your eggs from bouncing.I usually make a little handle out of tape to so it is easy to remove from the box.I have a few 6 flat foam shippers and 3 foam egg shippers for quial eggs if you want them.
Hope this helps you.
In N.H.,Tony.
