No worries, if you got leaves, then they are rooted and you're good to go. Probably next spring/summer....it depends, but I got to the point where I was more worried about getting them rooted because all of a sudden it got SUPER cold at night right after I returned from last years' trip, then TONS of rain....and then I moved....but I only lost a few, and looking to replace those this time around :)
