Actually that is the single best part about buying my house in Norco, CA.....i didn't have to change jobs, am not that far away from where I was to begin with....BUT, the neighbors on the right have horses, chickens (I think they raise those fighting games though), a goat somewhere, and are very country'ish. The neighbors on the left are an older couple who had children they raised here and they've gone through having all the animals and raising their own chickens, etc....now they just have a cat but the neighbor on the other side of them is the one with the camel, Bert (who just had an Australian special filmed about him), 3 horses and a miniature donkey named Rocky.
So actually.....it's awesome, nothing I have phases any of the neighbors.
One more week and my Blue Jerseys, Buff Silkies, and Seramas are due to hatch....and my OTHER hovabator has 42 eggs in it.....Salmon Faverolles, which I have always wanted, and Porcelain D'Uccles which I also REALLY wanted to raise.
I have some eggs coming for pure snow white silkies and some eggs from a show quality dark rhode island red breeder....can't wait....the reds and my Dominiques are going to be my biggest egg producers....that's the goal since I have a few people buying fresh eggs from me now. Plus I have people offering to buy my pumpkin pies and pumpkin bread that I made last weekend. I'm gonna cut up my other huge pumpkin and get all of it baked/boiled and make some more pies and bread.
