Subject: There's been a loss

So today I lost my hen Parsley. She was having trouble breathing. Her bottom looked like it was clogged with whitish poop. And her stomach seemed swolen. I'm not sure what was wrong with her. I brought her inside, and made her comfy. She died about 5 hours later. So now I have a lone male. I hope he'll be ok. I don't really want to hatch any more right now. And I don;t know of anyone around here that would have a female. But I guess I'll start looking!

Oh does anyone have the LXD quail (those are the giant ones right?) I'd be interested in hatching those, and my male couldn;t beat up on them like he did my hen.
