I meant to reply to you in the last thread but keep getting sidetracked. I would love to have a really tame button quail, but it will probably never happen because I also have a cat who would love to kill birds, or at least scare them to death.

I know what you mean about the doves. I had pigeons for a while, they are more prolific than rabbits, which we also have.

I also love chickens, but I need more land before I can have them again. My kids used to have a gold sebright and black rosecomb bantam hens. That black rosecomb was the sweetest thing, I could just snuggle her, she was so soft.
