Subject: Things I Have Leanred From Some F&F Directors (that are also dear people & friends)

I have learned many things since becoming involved in Fairs & Festivals and meeting some of the wonderful people involved in the pageant area. I have even learned from some newbies and as I have told them in the past you definitely learn more each year. Believe it or not, I have even learned things from some of the directors(and pageant & fair people in other positions) that I personally do not care for as much as I do some others.

I have found great friends and advisers in Jenny Sullivan, Sandy Fisher, Karen King, Connie Sizemore, Jeanie Smith, Jacki Morgan, Diane Persinger, Suzanne Wine and Becky Wells.

I have also found wonderful people and associates in Joberta White, Camille Ramsey, Cindy Sanders, Annette O'Hare, Kristi Atha-Rader,Crystal Smith, Mrs. Krushansky, Kristina Longfellow, Tonya Vincent, Sarah Hughes-Keiper(hope I spelled that right), Reanna Underwood, and Missy my half runner. I also consider these people my friends as well.

These are not ALL the people I met whom I value. There have been others in pageantry including a judge named Richard (I think he is so cool), Debbie Triplett, Debbie Marshall, David Lackey, and several I do apologize because I can see your face but your names slip my mind.

Everyone you meet in pageantry can make an impression, most good but a few not so good but if you keep an open mind you can always learn something from everyone.

I just want to say thanks and I have really learned so much in the fifteen years I have been in Fairs and Festivals as a parent and director and sometimes a judge, tabulator or emcee.

Thanks to all and blessings, Sue

P.S. I am seeking some judges for my Interview Day (I need you in the morning and will release you after lunch)which is September 30 at the Flatwoods Days Inn.
Also, on Evening Gown afternoon/evening the pageant ebgins at 5pm and I need some judges to arrive by 4:30pm. It shouldn't take too long since it is only Evening Gowna nd on stage and the numbers are low.
And on October 15 which is also my festival I need some judges for the childrens pageant which ebgins at 11 so I need you at 10:30am and the only category is Seventies Wear and there will be boys and girls from birth to age 15. They are allowed to freestyle/pro am model which is an uptempo pace of working the stage area to music and their outfit.
If interested, please contact me soon. Thanks again
