Subject: Mason~Dixon Schedule

I would like to invite everyone to MORGANTOWN this weekend (Sept 15-17th) for the 20th annual Florence Merow Mason~Dixon Festival. We will start the festivities with a parade down SPRUCE STREET on Friday evening at 6 pm. (High Street is having some major renovations) The will be plenty of activities on our festival grounds located at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park on Friday evening also including “RIVERSONG”~ a frontier musical depicting the history of the Mason/Dixon line. And SLIM CHANCE a country/pop/rock group will take the stage until we have ZAMBELLI fireworks at 9:30 pm.

On Saturday there is local talent under the Westover Bridge and on the main amphitheater stage our Tiny Miss pageant will start @ 11 am followed by the Little Miss then the Young Miss. After the Young Miss crowning, we will have a very special presentation for our founder~ Florence Merow. You will not want to miss that!

At 1:00 the delegates for the Queen of the Monongahela will take the stage in street wear to present their one minute speech and then we will hold our Teen pageant. After the crowning of our 2006 Teen Queen, the Queen contestants will come back to the stage in their gowns and have a short on stage interview with our emcee. Before the crowning we will introduce ALL VISITING ROYALTY! This will be at approximately 2:45.

Our new titleholders will reign over the festival on Sat.& Sun. as we have these entertainers.

5:45-Possum Holler/ Country Band
7:15- Riversong
8:45- Possum Holler/Country Band

12:00 - Stonebridge Baptist Church

2:15- Children’s Gospel Sing
3:45- Talent Show
5:00- Ameriquiz
6:00- 15 Minutes of Fame (Daria Jones)
7:00- Rick K and the Allnighters
