Subject: The long Road

I was sent to Mayford Approved School when I was 11years old.Concidered "beyond parental control". Was sent to Detention center whilst at Approved school!. Considered "out of control". Hit the streets again at 15 years old. Lasted 1 year at liberty.Sent to Herts Training Approved School. Did the full whack, no remission. Was arrested at the gate. Was sent to Rochester Borstal. Absconded 3 times. The last time I gave myself up and went back to Rochester.I finished out my time as the Gate Boy and was segregated from the other boy's. In case I gave them "ideas".When I hit the streets again I was 20 years old. I have lived a crime free hard working life from that day to this. Im a grand father toboot.
The moral of the story is. Its a load of old bollocks. All those wasted years.They never even bothered to educate me or train me in any way.Everything I know I have tought myself!.Use the SYSTEM on itself,use it to stuff itsself. You would not Believe what Ive done for a living over the past 30 years. But thats another story.
Regards to you all who went through the mill,and survived like I did. Thoughs to the poor bastards who never made it.
