i am trying to find details about a tv documentary, part of yorkshire tv's "First Tuesday" series, transmitted in (I think) 1988; it alleged that the approved school system was riddled with organised paedophilia; this was the reason the whol;e system was closed down; the program centred on one school where a nimber of former pupils won substantial damages in court after suing the local authority that sent them there; the headmaster of the school committed suicide after his school was closed down.
