Cody and I just wanted to thank everyone for all their kind sentiments, love and prayers. We are overwhelmed by the support we continue to receive from everyone. We would like everyone to know that Sam did not suffer one minute, he had a massive heart attack and passed away at home, working outside with Cody. That is just the way he said he would like to go, "just lay down one day". Knowing he did not suffer is a comfort to us as we try to go through the rest of our lives without him. He was a very strong supporter of the youth in rodeo, ya'll keep going, he was very proud of the job you all have done to keep this association going for the kids. God Bless you all this year in your rodeo endeavors.
