Tabitha Jane Slippers, was born sometime early April 1988, found in a taped shut box, in a dumpster on a rainy night, and came to live with me November 17, 1988. She was a mischievious, darling, grey and white Tabby, with little white feet that looked like she was wearing slippers, hence her name. She was the "lady of the house" and allowed us, her humans to live with her. She met her demise with her dignity intact, March 28, 2008. Coming home from the vet empty handed was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I miss her finicky appetite, her constant purring, her leaps into my lap, her craving for cheese and donuts, her presence, her meowing, her kisses. She gave me almost twenty years of unconditional love, which I will be forever grateful. Rest now, dear sweet Tabitha, I love you, and will always miss you.
